Sangha Social Club: Here’s the Tea…Party!

Sangha Social Club presents our first ever COOKING CLASS! In collaboration with cookbook author Kiano Moju, join us for an intimate workshop & dining experience. You'll enjoy a three-course Afri-Cali tea party and have a lil’ sumthin’ to take home. Because this is a workshop & dining experience, it’s going to run a little different. 1. It’s a daytime BRUNCH 2. Theme is REVERIE ~interpret how you wish~ 3. Everyone will receive a lesson in how to make traditional Kenyan Chai 4. Guests will be assigned one of four workstations to be taught a course by Kiano. After each station concludes, we will all come together for a three-course tea party blending food from Kiano’s Kenyan roots with California cool. 5. Libations will be paired and we'll keep the tea pipping HOT. As always, our tea party will get sonic stirs from SOMSIREN. It's all happening in a beautiful space in the downtown Arts District. Run of the event: 1.00-1.30: welcome + assign stations 1.30-3.00: cooking never looked so good 3.00-4.00: feast on our creations + laugh like the bourgeoisie Need a tease? Here’s the menu/what you’ll be making! — Sausage Rolls — Mango & Ginger Scones — Coconut & Cardamom Mandazi — Lentil Samosas — Coriander Chicken Katsu Sandos — Dirty chai tiramisu — And of course: Kenyan Chai!!! Ticketed purchases required to attend. Seating will be limited on a first come, first serve basis — so we encourage you to grab your ticket soon! Tickets include meal, drinks, a special gift and most likely new friends.
