Astoria Cook Club: Mexican Feast
Sabores De Familia โ Flavors of Family! ๐ Join us for a pot luck style evening inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Mexico.
We are cooking/baking recipes from two different cookbooks (I will provide the recipes via email; no need to buy the cookbook!):
Nopalito: A Mexican Kitchen
Coco: The Official Cookbook โ both filled with regional Mexican recipes that honor heritage and home cooking.
Location: 23-71 31st Street, Astoria, NY
Time: 7:30 to 9:30 pm
Cost: $10 per person (This covers the space rental and event suppliesโ this is a community event, no profit is made.)

๐ How to Sign Up:
RSVP to this event. Payment is via Venmo. Then claim a recipe from the Google Sheet linked above under "Claim Your Dish"โYou do not need to buy the cookbooks. We will send the recipe PDF you choose.
*What to Bring for the Event*
๐ Single or double the portion of your selected recipe. Note: If you and a +1 would like to make a dish together, plan to double your portion.
๐ A serving utensil for your dish (spoon, spatula, tongs, ect.)
๐ (Optional) A tubberware to take food home. We often have lots of extras since there is so much food.
*Our House Queens event space has a microwave and small refrigerator on site, in case needed.
๐ Ticket Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. However, if you canโt attend, you may transfer your ticket to someone else 48โ72 hours in advance.
