The Creators Table with Jon Kung
Welcome to the first Creators Table of 2025!
I'm thrilled to feature Jon Kung, a trailblazing chef and cookbook author redefining modern home cooking. Known for his innovative blend of global flavors and deep connection to food as a form of personal expression, Jon's recipes inspire creativity and inclusivity in the kitchen. His cookbook, Kung Food, is a vibrant celebration of bold tastes and heartfelt storytelling—let’s dig in and explore his culinary world together! Get ready to gather, mingle, and feast!
HOW THIS TABLE WORKS:
1. This month, for obvious reasons based on our featured guest, we will be centering the table around Jon's cookbook, Kung Food! I will be posting pictures of the index, if you are having trouble getting a copy, DM @thecreatorstable.nyc and I can send you a recipe.
2. RSVP to the event and pay for your ticket.
RSVP to the event on this page. You will then be directed to a page to pay for your ticket via Venmo. You must do both of these things in order to be fully registered. NOTE: People who do not send their payment will be removed from the Partiful list within 24 hours to allow others to join.
3. You cook 1 (or more) items from the cookbook.
Now’s the fun part! You choose 1 item from Jon's book to cook. We created a handy Excel spreadsheet (linked above) where you should write down the recipe you plan to make. This will ensure that everyone brings something different! We technically allow duplicates, but prefer everyone brings something different.
4. We gather and eat!
On the day of the event, simply come with your recipe (and maybe some tupperware for delicious leftovers) and get ready to party! Check in is at 1:30pm, and we will begin to eat at 1:45pm! Jon himself will be there to say hello and see what you guys made! *please note we will have a kitchen on site to warm up dishes as needed*

FAQs:
BYO serveware and tupperware for any leftovers! We will provide paper plates, napkins, utensils and water.
Your RSVP does not include a plus one. If you’d like to attend with a friend, they need to sign up, too!
Anyone who comes to this Creators Table must bring a recipe. If you and a friend are coming, you can tag-team on a recipe! But you cannot come empty-handed.
If you need to cancel, you can request a refund from Nick as long as it’s more than 72 hours before the event. Less than 72 hours from the event you cannot receive a refund.
