This is the second event for my play Letters to Joan, which is premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe this summer. It’s a story built on love letters my grandparents wrote in 1956, full of ambition, longing, and dreams they never fully got to live out. I’ve been writing and dreaming alongside them for the past two years, and now I’d love to share some of that with you.
The evening will be quiet, cozy, and reflective. A chance to slow down. You’ll be invited to write a letter—maybe to someone you’ve lost, someone you love, or even to yourself. You can share it or keep it private. The hope is simply to sit in community and memory, with a mix of friends and kind strangers.
