you are invited to the book launch for my very first full length collection, LOCAL VIRGIN OF IMPRESSION.
perhaps you only know me as the blonde girl at trivia who is always talking about death and suffering and not answering any questions correctly. if so, you may be surprised to find out i am also a semi-acclaimed experimental poet!
as a writer, i have been described as:
"a fundamental future voice for feminist poetics"
and
"probably high when she wrote this"
my work has been nominated for Best of the Net and the prestigious Pushcart Prize as well as received support through fellowships and grants from the Academy of American Poets, Black Mountain College Museum, the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and Random House Publishers.
