Crowd Work Open Mic @ pinkFROG cafe
Crowd Work Open Mic is NYC's only mic where comedians, improvisers, character performers, storytellers, public speakers, and anyone interested in practicing crowd interaction can get 5 minutes to ad-lib with a live audience! Whether you're experienced or just curious, this is a supportive space to experiment and improve. Performers can also use their time on prepared material if they'd like.
Given 'crowd work' is the focus, we encourage audience participation. This is a space where everyone's 5 minutes are respected, so please give your attention to the performer on-stage and be ready to engage. And when in doubt, keep it respectful and be curious!
Doors open at 8 PM, show starts at 8:30 PM, wrapping up by 10/10:30 PM.
Hosted at pinkFROG, an independent cafe and event venue that supports local artists. Arrive early to enjoy tea, sake, beer, wine, NA drinks, and Asian fusion snacks. A great 3rd space to connect with other creatives in the neighborhood, and try something new!
