Yves Book Lovers! This month's read is My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante.
The club was inspired by a mother-daughter book club we cherished growing up. We gathered monthly to share thoughts on books and catch up on life. It shaped our love for books and dreams of creating a space where people feel seen and inspired.
We’re continuing that tradition in Bed-Stuy, diving into stories that amplify often-overlooked voices—women, BIPOC, and queer authors.
How it Works:
6:00–6:30 PM: Intro & Imbibe
Settle in with a drink and meet your neighbors.
6:30–7:30 PM: Pages & Passages
Bring a book—any book—and share a passage or quote that resonates with the month’s theme. It’s your chance to meet fellow book lovers. This month's themes are Identity within Friendships and Ambition.
7:30–8:30 PM: Book of the Month Discussion
We'll share reactions, thoughts, or friendly debates. Don't worry if you haven’t finished the book—feel free to stay and jump into the conversation!
Tickets are $10. Your ticket reserves your space and includes a daily brew coffee (reg/decaf) or tea. Wine BTG and treats will be available for purchase.
