Let’s come together with the South Bay Jewish community to memorialize the events of October 7th. This screening at 3Below Theaters is part of the “Never Again Is Now” Series, sponsored by Jewish Silicon Valley. The New Jew: Days of War follows Israeli comedian Guri Alfi as he embarks on a journey to explore the profound impact of October 7 on the identity, security, and status of Jews in the United States. (Read the full details and watch a trailer on the attached link) After the screening, we will join in a community conversation led by Rabbi Hugh Seid-Valencia to explore the themes of the film, share how it made us feel, and discuss together how we can create change and make a difference. FYI: This event is on Oct 16, not Oct 7, because of Simchat Torah. The worldwide Jewish community is commemorating Ten/Seven on the 16th this year to avoid the holiday.
