🎂Inspired by the viral San Francisco Cake Picnic, I decided to organize Redwood City’s own Cake Fest at Red Morton Park on October 4th, 2025. For those who do not know what a cake picnic is, it is a social event where attendees must bring a cake for entry! (cake required for entry, without it, no entry!) The cakes will all be displayed, labeled with tags that will be provided at entry. Those who attend will be divided into groups and will be given time to grab a slice from each cake they would like! it’s basically an opportunity to allow other people to try your baking and for you try others!🎂

To participate in the cake-sharing, you must bring a whole cake (homemade, preferably, but store bought is OK)

🍰Cake boxes and forks will be provided but please do your best to bring a cake server/knife so others can take a slice out of your cake

🍰 At entry, we will provide wristbands, which will direct you to your group (which will be called out for when it is time to grab cake!) We will also provide the labels for each cake, in which we expect you to write the type of cake and possible allergens include
