Join us, Thursday, March 14th, from 6-9 PM for the opening reception of, 'Next Season,' a solo exhibition featuring the work of New York-based artist Gregg Emery. Gregg Emery's paintings, with their intricate layers of both texture and meaning, draw inspiration from the cyclical nature of existence, encapsulated in Elif Shafak's words: "Arboreal-time is cyclical, recurrent, perennial; the past and the future breathe within this moment..." Emery's contemplation of the transient yet perennial aspects of life is reflected in the stroke of his brush, inviting viewers to explore the interconnectedness of past, present, and future. Emery delves into the timeless dance of seasons, infusing his works with the nostalgia of winter thawing into vibrant spring, and the longing for permanence in an ever-changing world. On view from, March 9th - May 16th. The Yard: Gowanus, 157 13th Street, Brooklyn, NY --> All work in the show is for sale via a blind auction. Guests are encouraged to make a bid for any piece(s) they are interested in. The highest bid for each piece will be honored and revealed at the Closing Reception on May 16th. There are no minimums, so if a piece speaks to you, go for it! Our priority is to see as much work land in the hands of folks who really love it, as possible. --> This event is happening in conjunction with The Yard's Office Hours, a concert series, curated to inspire creativity and cultivate connections. Attendees to the opening reception are encouraged to stay for the concert, featuring Eli Thomas. Tickets for the concert will be on sale at the door. --> About Gregg Emery: Emery has received critical acclaim for exhibits around the globe.
