The documentary, co-produced by Douglas Gordon, is composed of intimate conversations between some of the most renowned artists, Galleries, and Collectors living in L.A and the upcoming generation of artists "Made in L.A". The feature includes Paul McCarthy, Kenneth Anger ( His Last appearance), Henry Taylor, Louise Bonnet, Ariana Papademetropoulos, Patrick Painter, Sarah Watson ( Gagosian Director) Raymond Pettibon, Jeffrey Deitch, Jill Mulleady, Peter Shire, Paz Lenchantin, Umar Rashid, Paul Schimmel, Joe Dallesandro as the narrator, and more... Each sequence addresses a specific subject, providing pieces of information and personal vision on art, inspirations, and experiences: From the expectations of young artists to the personal hindsight of renowned artists- Kenneth Anger giving his last message to Generation X armed with iPhones as an extension of their arms, telling them that they can create with limited resources, Henry Taylor in his studio painting live and showing his techniques while exploring his new works, Sarah Watson & Louise Bonnet on their attraction for Los Angeles and the complexity of the city, the body transformations as a model of inspiration, a Dinner at mega-collector Eugenio Lopez with creatives philosophizing about their ideas, Mr Washington sharing his story of how the painting got him out of a wrongful lifetime sentence to jail, Jeffrey Deitch and Ariana Papademetropoulos having a conversation about the iconology of Hollywood and the real character of L.A, Paul McCarthy talks about the limitation of freedom and the life of an artist...
