"The contemporary condition is defined by the paradox of excess and insufficiency. While our daily life is inundated with an over-saturation of media images and consumer products, we also face an ever growing desire for more, as well as a constant sense of deprivation fueled by natural disasters, racial terror, and political instability. Hyper-visibility and erasure, consumption and waste, connectivity and emotional alienation, accumulation and loss, hyper-production and scarcity—all aspects of contemporary life feel simultaneously overwhelming and inadequate." Join us for Postcrypt Art Gallery's upcoming show "Too Much, Never Enough" on April 3rd at 7pm in Dodge 501 featuring work from student artists.
