ABOUT When a daytime mushroom and a nighttime mushroom with different routines bump into each other, they learn to see the world through each other’s eyes. This is a theatre piece for 2 - 5 year olds and their families. It is being developed through the New Victory Theatre’s LabWorks Residency. WHAT IS A ‘WORKSHOP PERFORMANCE’? It’s a work-in-progress performance of a new theatre piece. Things are still in the exploration stage and workshopping is the best way to receive audience feedback, figuring out what is working and what’s not. The performance is around 30 minutes, followed by a 10-minute facilitated feedback session. WHO CREATED THE SHOW? 'The Mushroomers' was created by Zonia Tsang, a musical theatre composer and playwright, and her husband, Jeff Wildermuth, a composer and screenwriter. They both went to the NYU Musical Theatre Writing Program, where they tell stories through music. We have another performance at 11am on Mar 9, 2025 (Sunday) which is full at the moment, but feel free to sign up in the wait list. https://partiful.com/e/JYjom6pZbHIWNlTcik3g QED has a strict policy of no outside drinks, except for baby milk.
