Jo Weldon's acclaimed solo show comes to New Orleans! Two nights only, at the legendary Allways Lounge.
Part illustrated fashion history lecture, part sex industry memoir, Jo's provocative solo show explores the intersections of sex work, fashion, and culture, and her intersections with those intersections. She'll discuss everything from the robes of the bible's Whore of Babylon to "naked dresses" on Hollywood's red carpets. She'll also reveal stripper secrets about tan lines, boob jobs, and pubic grooming, all through her own stories of working as a stripper, dominatrix, call girl, and burlesquer.

"...characteristically uncategorizable... Ms. Weldon has impressive charms and enormous burlesque fashion erudition, combined with a Mae West world-weariness drolly suited to her subject."
