Cake Pickin' 🐷

The south’s got something to bake. This time, we’re leaning into our southern location with a Cake Pickin’ 🐖 For at least two centuries, the tradition of southern pig pickins’ have brought folks together to celebrate a shared interest and a meal. This will be just like that, minus the pork and with a lot more cake 🍰! And for those concerned about said traditions, don’t worry, there’s bound to be at least one traditional pig pickin’ cake – a yellow layer cake flavored with pineapple, mandarin 🍊 and vanilla pudding – in the lineup. _______________ bring cake (& a way to cut your cake), meet new friends, enjoy baked goods made with 💕 blue ribbon winners 🥇 BYO tupperware _______________ Join us on the afternoon of October 6 for the first ever Cake Pickin’! Feel free to bring whatever type of cake or baked goods 🍪 you desire (we'd love to see a few savory bakes this time 'round)! We will have signs to note whether a bake contains nuts or other allergens etc. Please bring enough to share with your fellow cake enthusiasts. +1's may contribute a canned good or donation to share food with our extended community in lieu of cake. All skill levels are welcome to join in the cake fun, you can even support a local bakery if you don’t have time to whip up a cake yourself.
