location will be sent same day by text. Join us for a fun interactive sound music therapy session. We will come together and enjoy the beautiful healing voice of Dr Kripa and have a blast together. Kids and guardians of all ages welcome! Music Therapy is a safe gentle approach to help children relax and release stress. Soft melodic sounds such as singing bowls can create a serene energy and environment allowing children to calm their minds and bodies. Certain tonal frequencies are healing in nature as well, and can potentially help with improving and advancing the connections of neurons in the brain over time. The music and language centers of the brain are very closely interconnected. Songs with words are a great way to stimulate language production over time. A lot of research has been done in recent years on the relationship between music, healing, and developmental advancements in all kids, and also those with learning disabilities, ADHD, those on the autism spectrum, or those who have experienced trauma (to name a few). This session is to provide an activity for kids in the community to experience some aspects of these concepts in a session, of relaxation, and interactive music play “ This event is sponsored by Collective Wellness Foundation founded by Christina White Wolfe and is a gift to the community. With her background and experiences practicing medicine, she has taken an interest in the benefits of sound healing and music therapy in children as well as those with developmental needs.
