Brooklyn Motion Capture Dance Ensemble: Workshop

Hi all! The Brooklyn Motion Capture Dance Ensemble is super excited to be hosting our first NYC workshop! This will be a chance to meet the team, learn about our artistic practice, and dance + explore with many of the technology that we work with. We will explore some of our previous work with motion capture sonification, touch reactive devices, and audience cell phone participation. This will be a three hour session from 6:30 to 9:30 PM in the Arts On Site - Studio 3F on Saint Mark's Place in Manhattan. We will have the space available to us starting at 6 PM, so feel free to arrive a little early. While it would be awesome if folks are able to attend for the entire time, if you are interested and only able to make part of the session, please still attend and let us know! If you would like, please come prepared in comfortable clothing for moving. There is a bathroom in the space. Water bottles encouraged!
