Astoria CookClub: Mediterranean Summer
Let’s celebrate the new season with a Mediterranean-inspired event! We'll be cooking/baking recipes from 2 different cookbooks
(1) Mediterra: Recipes from the Islands and Shores of the Mediterranean
(2) Zaytinya: delicious Mediterranean dishes from Greece, Turkey, and Lebanon
Location: Our House Queens, 23-71 31st Street, Astoria, NY
Time of Arrival: 7:30 p.m. (7:45 p.m. to start—please send a message if you are running late)
Cost: $10 *This covers the space rental and supplies (plates, cups, water, utensils)— this is a community event; no profit is made.

(1) RSVP to this event. Payment via Venmo.
(2) Claim a recipe from the link above called "Claim Your Dish"—You do not need to buy the cookbooks. We will send the recipe PDF you choose.
*What to Bring for the Event*
📌 Single or double the portion of your selected recipe. Note: If you and a +1 would like to make a dish together, plan to double your portion.
📌 A serving utensil for your dish (spoon, spatula, tongs, ect.)
📌 (Optional) A tubberware to take food home. We often have lots of extras since there is so much food.
📝 Ticket Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. However, if you can’t attend, you may transfer your ticket to someone else 48–72 hours in advance.
🚫This is an Alcohol-Free Gathering:
To keep our cook club welcoming and inclusive for everyone, we’ve chosen to make this a dry event. No alcoholic beverages will be served or permitted. You are welcome to cook with alcohol, but please disclose it on the google sheet :)
