May the 11th be with You: ArtFunk Marina Clean Up

UPDATE: Since it's raining this coming Saturday, we've postponed our clean up to Saturday May 11th at 11am. Star Wars theme still applies so bring out those costumes and we'll see you there! Greetings fellow Rebel Scum and Imperial Loyalists! ArtFunk is presenting our first ever May the Fourth be With You volunteer event commemorating and celebrating the beautification of our city. We are asking for brave volunteers to join the fight against litter and trash that besiege the Marina district. Volunteer forces are called to assemble at Equator Coffee near the forward staging ground (Fort Mason) at 11:00AM with the coordinates @ 2 Marina Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94123. We will be picking up litter for roughly 90 minutes until 12:30PM. All are welcome and encouraged to join in celebrating our triumph after, at Monaghan's Bar. You will be provided with the finest armor —Lightsabers (trash pickers), solar reflectors (safety vests), and appendage covers (gloves) — to aid this cause. Star Wars costumes, t-shirts, and apparel are highly encouraged.
