NYC Council Tech Committee (re: Open Data)

Are you a technologist, or interested in NYC's response to our evolving technological landscape? Do you want to understand how one important component of the government works that's relevant to technology? Do you want to discover novel political affordances with other abundance-minded people? Do you want to have a chill, good time? Then come to 2024's first City Council Tech Committee meeting! It's open to the public, but the public often doesn't attend. So let's get a bunch of buddies and pals to attend. If you get bored or you need to leave--then just use the wifi and work on your laptop, or leave. This is chill. It's best to arrive at the address by 9:50am to give yourself time to enter and be seated. Daniel will be getting coffee at Five & Dime at 9:15am (Five & Dime, 8 Park Pl, New York, NY 10007). He will leave for the committee meeting from Five & Dime at 9:45am. You can meet him at Five & Dime, or at the committee meeting. Attire: casual is perfectly allowed, but Daniel will be wearing business casual (blazer, button-down, jeans).
