Conversation Hosts
Joanne Lu — Founder and designer of Mute by JL, a womenswear label known for clean lines, thoughtful construction, and quiet confidence. With over a decade of experience in fashion, she creates timeless, versatile pieces designed for women who move with intention. Based in New York, she runs her store hands-on, inviting customers to connect directly with the design, the materials, and the stories behind each garment.
Chantel Banus — A dietitian working in digital therapeutics and the founder of demi. demi encourages mindful wine drinking by popularizing the smaller 375 ml bottle format, partnering with local NY winemakers and hosting intimate, sommelier-free wine tastings. Chantel has decamped to the Hudson Valley for the summer and has a pomeranian named Cleopatra.
