Hello! Thanks for your interest in supporting our mega-art action and solar concert, hosted by Common Horizon and Climate Action Network Canada.
WHAT: We are staging a 95-metre message to PM Carney ahead of Throne speech: Pick a path, pipelines or climate action? This might break records as the largest banner in Canadian climate movement history!
We need ~20 people, ideally with art build experience, to support the installation starting at 12pm.
WHERE: Major's Hill Park, Ottawa
WHEN: If you're able to help with the installation, please arrive at 12pm - we are taking birds-eye photos and sending to media by 4:30.
The art installation will be followed by a solar concert from 5-7 pm, with local Ottawa musicians (Luella, Jessica Pearson, and Mailaïka Urbani). Invite your pals, enjoy an evening picnic with good music and good company!
