Hey friends! The Commons, Solaris, and the Neighborhood are excited to announce a joint project called City Campus π - a non-profit that funds social infrastructure and community builders.
π Today we're hosting our official launch party for our fundraiser (https://bit.ly/donatetocitycampus) and you're invited!
We'll be sharing our vision and gathering a group of the most earnest and optimistic people in SF. Come celebrate the beginnings of a San Francisco we're excited to call home.
Our goal is to turn one square mile (Haight/Hayes/Alamo) of San Francisco into a multigenerational campus designed to help you:
- meet inspiring collaborators
- live, eat, and work near friends
- find & build your life's work
- raise kids with "a village"
- explore your intellectual & creative curiosities
- engage in civic life
...all in community and within a 15-minute walk.
We're excited about infrastructure that can cohere a community and make SF a vibrant place to flourish for all. I.e. communal cafeterias, pluralistic & secular spiritual spaces, late-night cafes, civic spaces & debate halls, multi-purpose co-working spaces, mixed-use daycares, and community experiences.
Itinerary for the eve:
πΉ 7-8:30pm: mingling over catered appetizers & drinks from local restaurants and interactive city campus exhibits
π8:30-9:15pm: we'll share more about City Campus's vision and how to get involved
π 9:15-10:30pm: music, mingling, good vibes, and snacks & drinks
Space is limited so we'll be curating attendees on a first-come first-serve basis. Please RSVP and we'll get back to you soon on your attendance status.
