Join The Antsy Verse for an evening where every form of artistry is celebrated! We're calling on artists of all kinds - poets, musicians, painters, dancers, and dreamers - to come together for a very special Birthday Edition of the Open Mic Bash! Whether your art is best expressed through the strum of a guitar, the stroke of a brush, or the rhythm of a poem, this is your platform to shine, share, and inspire. Date: Friday, May 31st Time: 6:30 pm doors open/7:00 pm open mic starts Location: Bushwick’s Hellphone at 247 Varet Street at the back of Ange Noir Cafe Let’s spread love! No hate tolerated. Limited seating is available for about 30. Ample space for standing and at the bar. I have throw blankets if some want to sit on the floor! This event is more than just a showcase; it's a celebration of our community's collective creativity and an opportunity to connect with fellow artists across all mediums. Whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, we welcome you. There's no competition here, only encouragement, appreciation, and the shared joy of expression. Bring your friends and art, and let's make this open mic incredible! Open Mic Rules: 22 performance slots available 10-minute intermission after 12 performers Each performer has 6 minutes to share. I will give a one-minute warning. Please be respectful of time. A waitlist of 5 performers is available from 6:30. You are not guaranteed a slot if you are on the waitlist.
