SF COOKBOOK CLUB X NEIGHBOURGOOD PIE PICNIC
Hey everyone!
We're hosting a fun Pie Picnic on Friday, October 17th, collaborating with Neighbourgood. Get ready for a great evening of pie and friends!
The Plan
* The Baking: Form a pair or a small group and bake your favorite pie the day before. Think sweet or savory!
* You can use The Book on Pie by Erin Jeanne McDowell for inspiration, or choose any recipe you love from online.
* The Picnic: Bring your creation to share and help us taste all the entries!
* When: Friday, October 17th, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Please aim to arrive on time so we can start the picnic together.
* Where: Alamo Square Park. We'll be located on the side facing the Painted Ladies, near the top of the hill.
* The Afterparty: We're keeping the evening going!
* Starting around 7:00 PM, we'll walk over to Emporium for arcade games and to continue the pie celebration.
Logistics & What to Bring
* You Should Bring: Layers (it gets cold!), a picnic blanket, and Tupperware to take any pie home! If you’re joining us at emporium after make sure to bring an ID!
* We Supply: Plates, forks, and some tea. (Feel free to bring a savory snack if you want something to balance out the sugar!)
* Need a baking partner? If you want to bake but want a partner, let us know by October 10th, and we’ll introduce you to someone in the community.
* RSVP: Please reply to this invitation by Monday, October 13th, letting us know if you plan to attend!

* We’re asking for a $10 chip-in to help cover any costs and support the club to keep events like these going!
