In the U.S., Spanish should be an official language we all learn in school. But due to racism and an inadequate school system, so many of us do not have the skills to have conversations with our Spanish-speaking neighbors, community members, or family. So, we hope this club can help out with that a bit!
Whether you're struggling to have basic conversation in Spanish or whether you're a bilingual speaker whose skills are a bit rusty, we want to create a safe and friendly place where you can practice your Spanish conversation skills with other learners.
Led by a bilingual Spanish speaker, you'll follow conversation prompts that will have you dusting off your Spanish, gaining more vocabulary, confidence, and grammar proficiency.
We'll have drinks and snacks available as well!
