Friday Gallery warmly welcomes Pakistan’s Youth Poets Laureates to Los Angeles. Join us for an evening of poetry, chai, and community to honor the next generation of creative voices, and raise funds for the first international laureate program in the world.
The evening will featuring featuring performances by Pakistan’s first-ever national Youth Poets Laureate, Aiman Tahir Khan and Mashallah Saif, performing poems in English, Urdu and Punjabi.
Poetry anthologies from the program will be available for sale, as well as custom embroidered hats. This is a free event, and you are welcome to support the fundraiser with a tax-deductible donation.
Performances start at 7:30pm. Join us in honoring the Youth Poet Laureates and celebrating the power and beauty of language—at a time when remembering how to listen has never mattered more.

ABOUT FRIDAY GALLERY
Friday exists to enable the discovery of rising creative voices from the Global South, curating art, objects, and editions from across South Asia, the Middle East and beyond. Our space blends an art gallery with a design concept store to create a rotating seasonal platform celebrating brown artists, designers, and artisans. Each Friday season is anchored in a rotating theme, with the art, fashion, and object curation bound together in a shared spirit. From Pakistani minimalism, to the surrealist visions of feminist Dubai photographers, to gothic brujas in Mexico, Friday celebrates the cultural voices of tomorrow.
