🙋🏻♀️FREQUENTLY ASKED KUESTIONS
Q: Will there be a food or a potluck?
A: The infamous potluck is coming to the Kommunal Garden series due to popular demand! A key part of the Koala Karnival experience is sharing food together. We've received lots of feedback from people saying that one of their biggest joys at the event is bringing food to share with everyone. It's a personal way to contribute to the experience with a special touch. With this in mind, we've decided to bring the potluck to the Kommunal Gardens!
Q: What & how much should I bring?
A: We invite you to bring a dish from your culture or something you love to make. If you're unsure what to bring, fruit is always a good bet! No need for much, just a little something to share! We'll set up a beautiful table for everyone to enjoy, so keep it simple and bring the usual amount you'd bring to a potluck with friends. It is also NOT mandatory to bring anything.
Q: How will allergies and special diets be accommodated?
A: We'll be dividing the potluck into three sections: all diets, vegetarian/vegan, and sweets. Dishes will also be labeled if they're gluten-free or vegan. However, since we can’t guarantee a completely allergen-free environment, please exercise caution if you have severe allergies. If you have specific dietary needs, consider bringing a dish you know you can enjoy!
Q: Am I allowed to move around?
A: Yes ofc! We understand it’s tough to stay in one place for so long. We encourage you to get into a state of NSDR (non-sleep deep rest) as much as you can, but partaking in our many krafts can be a healthy way to move your energy while still allowing your body to slowwww down.
Q: Do the doors close? Can I arrive after the music starts?
A: Yes, doors close at 5 PM! While you can arrive after the music starts, we highly recommend coming early. Arriving early allows you to say hello, settle into the space, and participate in our "Kollective Kircle.
Q: What is the Kollective Kircle?
A: The Kollective Kircle is an opportunity for everyone to settle into the space, connect with their bodies, and foster co-regulation for the journey ahead. For this edition, we’re thrilled to announce that Yoga Nidra will be offered by our dear Kurrator, Trevor.
Q: No alcohol or uppers? What’s that all about.
A: With today’s busy way of being, let’s give ourselves the grace of gathering in a way that ask us to relax and be still, instead of stimulating ourselves more. This allows us to connect on a different level than ever before! We promise you’ll enjoy the experience more this way.
Q: What happens if I fall asleep?
A: Same thing that happens every time you fall asleep! Keep on snoozin’ we say! (But if you snore loudly, we might nudge you a bit ;)
Q: What happens if the event is sold out? Is there a waitlist?
A: Yes, we will have a waitlist enabled once the event is sold out.
Q: Is my ticket refundable?
A: Tickets are non-refundable, with one exception: If the event is sold out, we will announce a waiting list. Refund requests can be made once the waiting list is active, and we will process refunds and allocate the ticket to someone on the list if there is interest. Refund requests must be submitted at least 72 hours prior to the event; requests made after this deadline will not be accepted. Please note that ticketing fees are non-refundable and will be forfeited.
Q: Can I sell my spot to a friend?
A: Yes, you can sell your spot to a friend. However, please note that we are not responsible if the ticket shows as 'already scanned.' Ensure that all transactions are legitimate to avoid any issues with fraud.
With love, 🐨🎪🪩
