:DWhether you want to make your first zine or your five hundredth, you’re invited to this Zine Makers Meetup! A zine is an independently created booklet about whatever subject you so desire; they're artsy means of self-expression and creativity that anyone can make! This is going to be a casual meetup to talk shop, trade zines, and make new stuff. Experienced zinesters, people who’ve never made one but think longingly about the concept, and people with no idea what I’m talking about here are all welcome to join for a few hours of socializing and creating.
MASKS MUST BE WORN AT THIS EVENT, in order to allow our disabled and cautious community members to attend safely. Try to step away from people if you need to take a brief sip of your water. Masks will be provided to anyone who doesn't have one. Thank you for understanding!
RSVPs are not mandatory, but will allow me to keep track of what supplies people are bringing! You'll also be able to receive reminders, as well as notifications of any last minute changes (such as if the BPL needs to move our room). When RSVPing, please note in your comment if you're bringing any supplies to share! Do NOT bring overly messy supplies such as loose glitter or charcoals; please respect the library space! No food or drink (besides bottles of water) is permitted in the meeting rooms.
