Ever since we heard his voice echo through the trees, we’ve been dreaming to host James Bird for a house show to share his soul filled folk songs with the Musicollage community. We are now very excited to collaborate for a very special house show in a Brooklyn brownstone.
James is a poet/musician/bard local to western MA. A live musician at heart, he has shared music in a diversity of spaces like festivals, farmer’s markets, funerals, wedding ceremonies, ecstatic dances and grief rituals. Myth is a central theme in Bird’s music, using ancient stories to speak to the timeless human experiences of love, loss, friendship, mystery, death and rebirth.
Bird will be supported by CLOVER, Dani Sundream, and Luka James who will invite the audience to layer harmonies with original songs.
