Queer Figure Drawing @ The Center🌈🎨🌸
Join us for an evening of queer figure drawing at The LGBT Center! We’re four friends who bonded over our shared love of queer art. After taking a figure drawing class together, we saw a need for queer representation in figurative drawing. We’re excited to draw with you!
Anyone is welcome. Please bring your own materials. Short-form poses (3-7 minutes). Instruction will not be provided but artists of all levels are welcome.
We have a model for October 8, but are looking for models to do this again in the future! If you’re queer and interested in nude modeling, we would love to hear from you! Please email m.matura11@gmail.com
Cost Transparency:
We do not make any money from this. Rather, we volunteer our time to organize community connection and collect $15 per person to cover the cost of the space and to pay the model for their time. The space costs $60 an hour. We pay our models $60 an hour plus tips. After paying for the space and the model’s time, any leftover proceeds go to the model.
