Refunds available 24hrs before event. 🗓️ Event Flow & Structure Welcome & Arrival Guests arrive, check in, and are invited to order food or drinks at their leisure. Seating is open. 1️⃣ Opening Announcements & Introductions Once everyone has arrived, we'll gather attention for a warm welcome. Here’s what we’ll cover: *An overview of the activities and flow for the night. *Ground rules: Quick reminders about respect, consent, and the vibe we’re co-creating. *Community round of intros and pronouns 2️⃣ Game 1: “Yes, And” We’ll kick off with this improv-inspired connection game to loosen everyone up. How it works: In small groups or pairs, participants build a collaborative story or scenario, where each response must start with “Yes, and…” This game boosts creativity, listening, and playful affirmation—essential queer dating skills! 3️⃣ Talk: Consent & Why It Matters A short but impactful speech highlighting: *What consent really means in queer & non-monogamous contexts. *Why enthusiastic, ongoing consent is the foundation of great connections. 4️⃣ Game 2: “Trust Me, I’m Queer” We break into teams for this interactive floor maze game. Each team takes turns guiding a blindfolded teammate through a fun maze—using only verbal instructions. Skills built: Trust, clear communication, and a whole lot of laughter. Bonus: Wild card challenges may pop up for extra chaos and bonding! Break (15 minutes) Time to refresh: *Bathroom break *Drink & snack refill *Open mingling if desired. 5️⃣ Group Connection: Find Your People To close the night, we invite everyone to self-organize into groups based on their non-monogamy style or interest. Examples: Relationship Anarchy, Kitchen Table Polyamory, Hierarchical Poly, Solo Poly & more. In your group, you can: *Chat freely & share stories. *Use connection prompt cards (we’ll provide) to deepen the convo. *Optionally exchange contacts or continue discussions post-event. We will hand out contact info cards for you to turn in at the end. Before you leave you will receive an envelope with contacts from people who are interested in staying connected!
