Holiday Puppet Guild Meeting!

◔◟◔Happy Holidays! Join us for our puppet guild meeting this December. We’ve been invited to gather after hours at Prismajic — an incredible immersive art exhibit and event space. For those who haven’t been, think woodsy, mysterious, artsy escape room meets Meow Wolf. Check out the photos at the bottom of this email. We have been following Prismajic’s journey since 2018, when they were just a pop-up museum, and it’s amazing to see how they’ve grown. And guess what.. It is also a speakeasy! When: Wednesday, December 3
Time: 6:30–8:30 PM
Where: Prismajic - Located in the Colorado Mills Mall 14500 W Colfax Ave Suite 359, Lakewood, CO 80401
Arrive around 6:30 PM to grab a drink and some delicious food from the bar — the meeting will kick off around 7:00 PM. We’ll also take a field trip through the current art exhibition during the evening!
This meeting will be all about gathering, sharing, and celebrating puppetry. We’ll have a few announcements, and you’re encouraged to bring any puppets you’re working on to share, show, or get feedback.
We’ve also had several requests to discuss submitting a show to the Denver Fringe Festival — so we’ll have a panel of previous Fringe artists joining us to talk about their experiences creating new works, applying, and answering your questions. (Fringe applications usually open at the beginning of the year, and Denver Fringe has had some fantastic puppetry representation!)And the best part…
This meeting will include a sneak peek at our December Puppet Slam space!
That’s right — the Rocky Mountain Puppet Slam returns on December 20th in “The Woods” space at Prismajic. You’ll get to check out the venue and even sign up to perform in the show! (Scroll down to see the stellar venue).
