EVENT UPDATE 3/7 Good news, park runners! The McGolrick Marathon is back, but with an exciting new format to work with parks department regulations. We know this is different from the initial format, but the park department's requirements were too much to overcome for a single event. This isn't just an event anymore—it's a full-blown challenge to find McGolrick Park's most dedicated (or delightfully unhinged) runner! The Challenge: Between March 8th and March 16th, whoever completes the most laps around McGolrick Park will earn the prestigious title of "McGolrick Maniac" How to Participate --Head to McGolrick Park whenever works for you between March 8th and March 16th --Run as many laps as your heart desires (and your legs can handle!) --Track your run using Strava (don't have it? Download it—it's free!) --Submit your lap count after each run using this form: https://forms.gle/a4Y8Sa9LapxShLdz6 --Use the same form link for all your submissions throughout the challenge Important Notes: --Run solo or bring friends, but all form entries should be individual --Please be mindful of other park users—yield to pedestrians and maintain a friendly attitude --We are guests in this lovely shared space, so let's show our appreciation through respectful behavior --There's no minimum participation requirement—run one day or every day, it's up to you! --Weather happens—dress appropriately and run safely --Later this spring (date TBD), we'll try to gather at a local bar to declare our McGolrick Maniac and celebrate everyone's participation. --Prizes?
