Somewhat of a preference for scenes with recognizable objects over pure abstraction, but that's not a rule.

Rules:
(1.) no 2D unless:
-it's a mock up on the way to 3D
-it's 2D inside of 3D
-it's a 3D world that you took video of (i.e. virtual cinematography)
(2.) no 3D that's not simulated
(3.) art is prior to technique/technical information:
-you can present technical info, but only if it is subordinated to the artistic component of the work
-HOWEVER, you can do a whole presentation about, I'd like to build x, or I'm thinking about y (you can present on the early stages or brainstorm stages just as long as it fits the theme).
-ALSO, I think you can present on something you could very interesting that's not yours, if it falls within the scope of 3D simulated work; actually really welcome this.
(4.) People will interrupt, but in a casual/gentle way; the presentations are casual! If someone is annoying you, say: I'd like to give a more formal presentation, and we will shut up.
(5.) Please be aware of your air time during the discussion. If you find yourself not talking that much, I invite you to give it a shot. If you find yourself talking a lot, I invite you to take a step back. This is pretty important.
(6.) None of the obvious isms, e.g. sexism, are welcome here; I'm super serious about this, and have an extremely low tolerance for any of this.
