ProjectArt invites you to the opening reception of Assembled Here: A Map of Making featuring new works from Danielle Alhassid, Colleen Kong-Savage, Leonard Yang, Roni Aviv, Catie Dillon, Olivia Berke and Juno Zago and their students from Newark Public Library and New York Public Library locations, Jackson Heights, Glen Oaks, Forest Hills, New Lots, Washington Irving and Bushwick. Developed through ProjectArt’s library-based residency program, the exhibition highlights parallel practices in teaching and making. Please join us to view the work and celebrate the conclusion of this year’s residency. ProjectArt is a national award-winning arts education nonprofit that partners with public libraries to provide free, afterschool art classes for underserved youth while supporting practicing artists through residencies.
