At Masisi, we believe in building a culture of preemptive care — showing up for each other before things reach moments of crisis. The 'Masisi Protection Fund' is an initiative to support black queer people facing immigration violence and housing insecurity.

We invite you to join us for the Masisi Protection Fund Live Telethon this Sunday, September 28th at our home Little River Cultural Garden from 2PM–8PM. Expect a full day of community: live music, talks, dance workshops, and a special auction with amazing gifts up for bid — including a tattoo session from one of our favorite local artists at Easy Peasy Tattoo and a gift card to Technique Records.

Our goal is to raise $5K in donations to support our fam during this trying time.
