8 Ball TV and Godspeed Arts present to you “Geography of Memory: Selected Works”, an immersive exhibit of experimental films by Mary Trunk, an Altadena-based filmmaker and choreographer, in collaboration with composer, David Shohl. Due to the Eaton Fire in LA, Mary Trunk and her family lost their beautiful home in Altadena like so many of their dear friends in the community. We have connected with the Altadena Recovery Team, a grassroots group which has been integral in providing families with basic necessities and raising money for long-term efforts. We're suggesting donations of $20 per guest, but anything helps so pay what you can. You have the option to send a donation via Venmo along with your partiful RSVP or on the day of the event at the door. Please label your payment as "Altadena Donation". All proceeds from ticket sales will be transferred directly to the Altadena Recovery Team. This is not your traditional film screening! A series of short films will play on several different loops around the space. The gallery will be open between 6pm and 9pm, so pop in at any time and see what's playing! Support experimental filmmaking, DIY art spaces, and the beautiful town of Altadena in LA!
