My name is Megan Mendoza and I am an afro-latina multi-hyphenate artist hosting my first official solo exhibition.

My concepts for creation often come hurling like cafeteria food in a public school lunch room. The many faces painted are those that have emerged and begged to be seen, held my hand hostage until the paint dried so that their essence could exist in tangible form. I act only as the vessel.
