Share your birth story! 🎙 In this FREE open-mic story slam event, we will feature 10 different individuals getting up to tell their birth story in 5 to 10 minutes. Sign up is first-come, first signed up. Share a memorable birth story event, what happened, good or bad, to a group of understanding moms and audience members. This event will be recorded.
The goal is to share your true experiences of giving birth in an intimate and caring space, and be heard. Whether you're a mom who wants to share your story, an expecting mom who wants to learn from others or someone who just want to support all are welcome!

This event came about when documentary filmmaker Cameron Kit  began working on a short film about birth experiences for Birthvue, an at home contraction monitor company. After speaking with friends about their birth experiences, she heard that many moms to be wished to hear stories from others about their experience in delivery. This story slam is meant to be a way to foster storytelling around the subject in a safe environment.
