Community Meetup (Summer 2025)
BEGINNER TEACHING + MEETUP IS HERE! our og event is back, now on a quarterly basis to bring new and old players together for an afternoon of mahjong. this month, find us at Hana House in Downtown Brooklyn π

our new quarterly meetup format features something for everyone, all levels welcome. please play close attention to the ticket you choose as tickets are non-refundable:
two dedicated teaching hours (12β1pm & 1:30β2:30pm): for beginner mahjong players only. tickets guarantee a live small-group teaching session led by a gtsc teacher, taught the gtsc way. please only select if you're learning for the very first time. all teaching hour tickets include access to social play before and/or after your session.
social play (all day, 12β5pm): for existing players looking for a social & communal mixed-level environment. open to all players who vibe with our house rules. we'll also be informally teaching points at this time π
meetup runs long, but fret not! drinks and snacks will be provided by some of our (and your!) favorite vendors: Kinhfolk, Onigiri Noah, and Very Cool Ice Cream π΅ππ¦ come hungry and spend the entire day with us π
