We'll have:
Music, snacks, non alcoholic bev , friends & networking. 🎶🥨😋🍡
5:30pm- doors + mingling
6pm- opening welcome + remarks
7pm- prize drawing
7:30pm- swap ends
8pm- we kick you out ;)
Why another clothing swap? 👚👖
Clothes are so much more than mere cloth to cover our bits and keep us warm. They do life with us, share our memories and help us express our individuality!
But fast trend cycles, algorithms constantly throwing new shit in our faces and delusional pricing has led to a disconnect from the clothes we wear, where fashion is often regarded as disposable.
✨️We believe that re-establishing this connection is necessary if we are to transition to an era of intentionality. Join us for a different kind of clothes swap, where we celebrate the journeys of our wardrobes and give items new life and new stories. 📖
Swap Rules:
- Bring 2 clean, gently-used clothing items in great condition. Something cool, that you're also kinda sad to part with knowing you'll get something equally valuable.
- Bring your memories! We seek to rebuild connection with the clothing we wear. Upon arrival you’ll be handed a tag to hang on your garment. Write down one of your favorite memories or something special you want the garment to carry with it as it continues it's life with a new owner.
- All sizes and styles are welcome.
- Accessories and clean shoes are accepted.
