🪬It’s been one year since October 7th. We’ve mourned. We’ve lost. But we’ve also found community, resilience, and hope. Now, one year later, we’ve gone through so much – and it’s time to share.
🤝Malka Productions, Temple Emanuel, IPF Atid, all of the Moishe Houses in SF, Stand With Us, and the Menorah Center of the Russian Speaking Jewish Community have come together to curate a gallery-style interactive workshop for our Jewish young professional community to share personal experiences, emotions, and stories from the last 12 months.
💫 We are honored to be joined by Joshua Simmons, PsyD. Joshua is an Israeli-American psychoanalyst and psychologist with a practice in SF. His work largely focuses on intergenerational trauma and resilience in descendants of Holocaust survivors and Jews in the diaspora. In addition, Joshua has run national support groups for Jews and lectured on the ethnic gaslighting of Jews since Oct. 7th. The majority of his practice is with men and women ages 20-40.
🕯️Let’s come together to reflect, connect, grow, and learn from the past year as we move forward, stronger together.
Join us for "Reflecting Together: Gathering Strength A Year Since October 7th" as we come together to honor, remember, and heal as a community one year after the tragic events of October 7th.
🤍Through guided conversations and shared moments, we will create a sense of unity, discover new ways to support one another, and find hope as we look toward the future.
This is a chance to feel heard, learn from the experiences of others, and leave with a deeper sense of resilience and community.
This event is for Jewish young professionals ages 21 to 39
