Watts Culture Fest, is a vendor marketplace designed to empower Watts and South Central community stakeholders to preserve and celebrate their cultural heritage by sharing food and goods with Los Angeles residents and visitors. As a new year-round celebration in Watts, the festival takes place on WLCAC’s 7-acre campus, a space that offers visual and media arts studios as well as economic development opportunities. Watts Culture Fest, sponsored by Wells Fargo, hopes to build a stronger cultural economy with its community at the forefront. Our primary objective is to foster community support and empower its members to monetize their rich visual, oral, and geographical histories, thereby preserving and celebrating their cultural heritage for future generations. Together, we strive to create a sustainable ecosystem that not only enhances economic opportunities but also promotes a sense of pride and identity within Watts. We invite you to spend your day with us.
