Heavyweight amateur boxer and personal trainer, Al "Katil" Klee (they/them) is hosting their first all level fitness and boxing fundamentals class!
We will meet at McCarren Park near the track (corner of Lorimer and Bayard). Class will start at 12:30 so please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Students who no show will not be refunded.

This beginner class is suitable for all fitness levels, bodies, and abilities- NO experience required whatsoever! (Like actually none. I know sometimes fitness classes say that and then the class isn't accessible- I promise you do not need an ounce of fitness experience for my classes!)
Class will follow a circuit style model between full body fitness and boxing. All exercises are able to be modified to fit different abilities and needs. We will start with a small warmup and end class with stretching.
Boxing fundamentals will include the six basic punches, foot work, and defensive movement.
There will be VERY minimal to no contact with others during the boxing portion so don't worry- no one is going to hit you!

FAQ:
- What should I wear?
Wear something you're comfortable moving in! I recommend leggings/ sweatpants/ yoga pants/ athletic shorts and a t-shirt/ sports bra. Sneakers or other athletic shoes are required.
- What should I bring?
WATER! Make sure you have enough water to last you for the full hour. Also bring either a yoga mat or towel (or just something you're comfortable putting on the ground). If you have boxing gloves and wraps, bring them too but it's NOT a requirement. I will have some extra gear with me.
- I'm nervous for (XYZ reason) but I want to come. What should I do?
COME! I do everything in my power to make training with me fun and accessible. Fitness can be a really intimidating world to enter- I was nervous when I started too! My philosophy is that movement should be fun, welcoming, and accessible to EVERYONE. It's okay to be nervous. You're going to have a lot of fun and I'm there to support you!
