Join us for a Palayok Pottery Party this Women's Month, celebrating the traditional Filipino craft of “palayok,” predominantly upheld by women artisans in the Philippines. 💚
Spend your Sunday with us molding clay into your own palayok, a traditional Filipino cookware, while building community and enjoying drinks, Filipino bites, a photobooth, music by a Filipino-American DJ, and gifts from our partners at Unprude, Sunnies Face, and Sanzo.
Palayok is a clay pot traditionaly made my Filipinas to cook stews and soups. Archeological evidence suggests that Palayok making has been practiced for over 3500 years.
In partnership with Cruz Creations, a Filipina Pottery teacher based in Los Angeles.
💚 Supported by Unprude, Sunnies Face & Sanzo!
📸There will also be a photobooth for the memz.
🎟️ Ticket comes with a full workshop with palayok materials, delicious Filipino bites, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), goodies from Sunnies Face and a photobooth by Fotoco!
