Pitch Your Friends Night
Welcome to the all-inclusive (ages 18-35) event, 'Pitch Your Friends Night' hosted by Rubbish Club (@rubbishclub.aus).
This is the perfect event for people looking to make new friends or more in Brisbane! We have a screen, lots of fun people, a licensed venue with drinks & nibbles available to purchase and a dream to connect people.

Time: 6-10pm, Saturday April 12th
Where: Food Connect Shed, Salisbury 4107
Parking: Street parking available
Ages: 18-35 only
Cost: Free to attend - RSVP Required
________Schedule________
6-8pm: Cruise in and have some drinks, collect your wristband
8-9pm: Pitching & Q&A
9-10pm: Drinks until it closes and head to city in cabs/ubers
________PITCH DECK REQUIREMENTS________
- Must be submitted as a PDF (so no videos or GIFS)
- Maximum 3 mins pitching followed by 3 mins Q&A from audience
- The person you are pitching for MUST consent and feel comfortable being pitched prior to the event.
- All PDF pitch slides must be submitted to info@boedesign.com.au by Friday 11th 7pm and must not contain any obscene or offensive material.
- Slides to follow the following structure:
Slide 1___Introduce who you are pitching
- A nice photo of them some context (nothing crazy here!) - we'll get them to sit on stage with you if they'd like
- What are their pronouns?
- What's an interesting story about them i.e. they met Steve Irwin etc.
Slide 2___Why are they a great friend/dating candidate?
- Do they have an impressive set of skills i.e. really good with animals
- Do they have an awesome pet...hobby...job?
- What do they like to do in their spare time i.e. reading
- What hidden talent do they have i.e. they can do a backflip
Slide 3___What are they looking for?
- Are they just looking to make new friends?
- Are they looking for love or something casual?
- Are they just chilling for now?

- Do I need to be a Rubbish Club member to join? No! This is an open invite.
- Do I have to pitch to come along? Nope! We encourage it, but it's not required :)
- Does my friend I'm pitching also need to RSVP? Yes, we have limited capacity so anyone attending without an RSVP will sadly not be allowed entry.
- What is the Food Connect Shed Bar? Great question! It's a new bar being opened in the Food Connect Shed, open only on select evenings for events. It is fully licensed and has a selection of drinks and nibbles.
- Who will navigate the PDF? You will! We will combine all pitches and allow presenters to scroll through at their own pace.
