Topics can range anything from cybersecurity to deepfakes to economic impacts of AI to existential risk from rogue AI systems - anything that you'd like to discuss about the future of AI and its implications for the safe & positive flourishing of humanity. SUGGESTION: Bring *one friend who might find AI safety interesting*. A great way to have fun with friends & grow the community! People new to AI safety - great way to meet the community with zero expectations of prior knowledge or immediately getting involved. People with AI safety experience - great way to share your work with others & learn from their initiatives. It's at a pub with food + drink in the CBD (vegan options available), because it's a venue with lots of space and easy transport options. Alcohol consumption is neither compulsory or even encouraged -- drink water, beer, or whatever else, up to you.
