How it works

Before dating apps and social media, people met through family, coworkers, mutuals, and friends. That’s why I created Friend of a Friend, a dating mixer bringing that energy back to dating in New Orleans.
Unlike most dating events or speed dating mixers that tend to have uneven ratios and awkward energy, this event is intentionally designed to feel more natural and balanced. Every woman must bring a single platonic male friend, and every man must bring a single platonic female friend. Whether it’s a best friend, coworker, cousin, or someone you’ve known forever, the goal is to meet people who are essentially “friend approved” by others in the city.

This mixer is for singles ages 25+ looking to connect, mingle, and expand their circle in a relaxed setting at St. Noir. Expect drinks, conversation, icebreakers, and a fun, low-pressure atmosphere designed to help everyone actually interact.
