The most top-tier founders we know will gather in an amazing venue for some fun, friendly poker the night before the Grow NYC conference.
Oh by the way, the traveling trophy is a replica of The Stanley Cup.
RULES:
The poker tournament will start promptly at 6pm. We will allow players to join for an hour after start time. There will be no entries after 7pm.
The buy-in for the tournament is $100. There is a $15 optional add on that can be purchased for extra chips and will be used to fund the dealer tip pool. The entire amount goes to the prize pool. The hosts are not taking a cut.
Payouts will depend on the total number of entries but we are aiming to pay the top 10%.
Game Rules:
The game will be a No Limit Texas Holdem tournament structure with 20 min blind levels and will be using the big blind ante structure.
Seating will be drawn randomly upon entry and tables will be reshuffled as the game goes on to keep tables even.
Starting stacks will be 10,000 chips with an optional add on for 2,000 chips.
Blind structure will be 20 minute levels and there will be a 10 min break every 4 levels
Level 1: 25 / 50
Level 2: 50 / 100
Level 3: 100 / 200
Level 4: 150 / 300
Break: 10 min
Level 5: 200 / 400
Level 6: 300 / 600
Level 7: 400 / 800
Level 8: 500 / 1,000
Break: 10 min
Level 9: 600 / 1,200
Level 10: 800 / 1,600
Level 11: 1,000 / 2,000
Level 12: 1,500 / 3,000
Break: 10 min
Level 13: 2,000 / 4,000
Level 14: 3,000 / 6,000
Level 15: 4,000 / 8,000
Level 16: 5,000 / 10,000
Terms:
This poker tournament is for fun and networking only. The entry money goes to the prize pool and the add on goes to dealer tips. The hosts are not making money from the entry or add on.
Tournament chips have no cash value.
All entries are final. There are no refunds.
Tournament director and floor supervisors have final say on all game disputes and rulings.
